The postal company bpost offers from this Monday throughout the country the service of sending parcels via postman, it announced on Monday. A pilot project had been carried out in several municipalities since February in which individuals could hand over packages ready to be sent to the postman who came to deliver a package to their home.
Feedback from the project has been “overwhelmingly positive”, according to bpost. In practice, the individual must print the shipping label on the bpost site, and can deliver a maximum of two parcels at a time, for a maximum weight of 30 kilos per parcel.
