Front dissatisfied with police action and Jayarajan’s question EP Jayarajan

Thiruvananthapuram: The Left Front leadership meeting will convene today amidst questions and controversies raised by the Chief Minister’s security deployment. The agenda is to shield the government and the Chief Minister from the tainted political atmosphere created by the new revelations of Swapna Suresh.

The meeting will launch alternative campaigns against the opposition and the BJP demanding the resignation of the Chief Minister. The meeting will convene today at 3.30 pm to present the recommendations prepared by the CPM state secretariat in the LDF and implement them under the leadership of the Front. The LDF flatly rejects the new allegations of the dream. The struggle of the opposition in its name is also not accepted. But there are differences of opinion, including among the CPI, on the steps taken by the government and the police to combat it. CPI (M) state secretary Kanam Rajendran has criticized the police for seizing Sarith’s phone, a co-accused of Swapna.

The Front is also dissatisfied with the police’s hostage and harassment of people in various parts of the country in the name of the Chief Minister’s security. The senior CPI leader said that the police were showing greater devotion to the king than to the king. The CPI (M) is of the view that since the Chief Minister is in charge of the Home Department, he will not be able to absolve himself of his responsibilities completely.

The CM explained that the police did not do so on the basis of political and administrative decisions, given the high level of criticism within the LDF and the CPM itself against the ban on black. It also answers the question of LDF convener EP Jayarajan as to why he wants to wear black. The assessment in the front is that Jayarajan’s response did not include the changed times. Today is the first LDF meeting since Jayarajan became the convener. CPM-CPI discussion will also be held in connection with the meeting. Maybe it’s postponed to tomorrow.
