What can you tell us about the incident that led to these charges?

Molko: “during a concert in Turin last year, I made some comments directed at Giorgia Meloni. I stand by what I said, but I understand that it’s led to a bit of an uproar. I was expressing my frustration with her policies, but I didn’t mean to cause any sort of disruption that would end up here.”

Molko: “I think it’s vital to be honest and authentic. People can tell when you genuinely care about a cause. It’s also crucial to listen to your audience and involve them in the conversation.Music has a way of bringing people together and sparking dialogue, and I think that’s a powerful tool.”

Are there any plans for Placebo to address this situation in upcoming music or performances?

Molko: “We’re always writing new music, and I’m sure this experience will inform some of our future work. But for now, I’d just like to focus on the legal process and see how this unfolds.”
