In the fraud case against Sam Bankman-Fried, the founder of the collapsed crypto exchange FTX admitted errors on the witness stand, but rejected the fraud allegations. “We thought we might be able to build the best product on the market,” Bankman-Fried said Friday in federal court in New York. “Essentially the opposite came out. A lot of people suffered – customers, employees – and the company ultimately went bankrupt.”
