Markus Fuchs set a new Austrian record over 100 m on Thursday at the Liese Prokop Memorial in St. Pölten. The 27-year-old won at 1.2 m per second tailwind in 10.08 seconds ahead of the Briton Elliot Jones in 10:20. On July 16, 2022, Fuchs had a record of 10.15, the all-time high since 1988 Andreas Berger set and now pressed it once more by 7/100. “Now the record belongs to me alone, that’s so cool,” said Fuchs.
