Fuel leak fixed; Pipelines in Nevada have resumed operations

California ∙ Officials have resolved the leak found in the pipeline that supplies fuel from California to Las Vegas. Nevada Governor Joe Lombardo declared a state of emergency Friday night following a pipeline leak was discovered.

He informed that the state of emergency will be lifted only following the fuel supply has been completely normalized even though the problems in the pipeline have been resolved.

Kinder Morgan Energy officials said the leak was discovered at a pumping station in Long Beach, California. The pipeline was immediately shut down and a warning issued. Officials said that they intervened in the problem very quickly and found a solution.
