Dubai: There is good news for the people of UAE as the New Year is regarding to be born. A big reduction in the price of petrol and diesel has been announced for the month of January.
52 phils per liter for petrol and 45 phils for diesel. The new price of Super 98 petrol is 2.78 dirhams per litre. In December it was 3.30 dirhams. Special 95 petrol, which was 3.18 dirhams in December, has become 2.67 dirhams per litre. The price of E-Plus 91 petrol has come down to Dh2.59 per liter from Dh3.11 per liter last month.
Diesel has also recorded very low. The price of diesel in January is 3.29 dirhams per liter which was 3.74 dirhams in December.
Last month only a slight decrease of 2 fils was recorded in the fuel price. Residents including non-residents are relieved that there is no rate hike.
