As a reminder, gasoline and diesel prices rose sharply following the Russian invasion of Ukraine on February 24th. At that time, the price of unleaded 95 was 1.7618 euros per liter, against 1.7051 euros for diesel. Faced with this significant increase in fuel prices, the government has decided to set up aid for motorists: a rebate of 15 euro cents excluding tax which is due to end on July 31st.
