“Arkheion for Fundación Fernández. Collectible design catalog October/November 2023″ is the recent initiative proposed by the Fernández Foundation. The purpose of this catalog, which will be valid until November 30, is to finance the remodeling of the hospital’s neurosurgery operating room. Here, products of varied design will be presented, from armchairs and lamps to cutlery, made using Brazilian, Argentine and Danish manufacturing work, among others.

For 27 years, the Fernández Foundation has worked closely with the hospital, ensuring that it always has the necessary technology and resources. With the launch of this catalog, they are looking for a new way to involve the community in the hospital’s mission.

In June 2023, they played a vital role in the opening of a completely renovated dialysis room. It was a project that transformed the Dialysis Service, providing it with new equipment and facilities.

As they seek with this new initiative, said room, which covers an area of 318 square meters, became a testament to the commitment and determination of the foundation. It was carried out over a period of six months, from December 2022 to June 2023, and a modern and functional environment was created to perform dialysis available to those who need it.
Made up of different areas, this room belonging to the Dialysis Service has hemodialysis, a central infirmary, procedures, dialysis for isolated patients and peritoneal dialysis, staff bedroom and living room, guard bedroom, administrative offices, bathrooms and storage rooms. Being that, in addition, it includes electrical, thermomechanical, medical gas installations and total equipment.
The investment, which exceeded 150 million pesos, was financed by the Fernández Foundation, thanks to the contribution of the institution’s benefactors, business and individual donors. In addition, it had the support of the Government of the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
