Funeral services announced for Curry County Sheriff Mike Reeves

The funeral will be held is at 1 p.m. Saturday at Central Baptist Church in Clovis.

Reeves, 59, died unexpectedly.
He had traveled to Santa Fe for two weeks of training at the New Mexico Law Enforcement Academy.
When Reeves did not show up on Monday, people went looking for him.
Monday evening, police escorted the body from Santa Fe to the medical examiner’s office in Albuquerque for an autopsy.
The results have not been released. But acting Sheriff Michael Brockett said no foul play is suspected.
Reeve’s body was transported back to Curry County on Wednesday.
The escort arrived at the funeral home in Clovis at 1:45 p.m. MT.
