On Sunday, the Dutch site Wielerfits announced that the Belgian and Dutch teams had been discussing a merger since July which might be effective as early as 2024.
“I am sending you this email following the information you saw appear in the media,” says Lefevere, who makes no mention of Jumbo-Visma. “I am sure that these rumors have caused uncertainty and I would like to apologize for this. In recent months there have been discussions with several parties. I have always been open to discussion with those who wanted to invest in our team.
