G7 condemns ‘abominable’ attack on supermarket in Ukraine

G7 leaders meeting in Germany on Monday condemned the “abominable” Russian bombardment of a shopping center in Kremenchuk, Ukraine. “We stand together with Ukraine in mourning the innocent victims of this cruel attack,” the G7 leaders said in a joint statement posted on Twitter by the German G7 Presidency. “Indiscriminate attacks once morest innocent civilians constitute a war crime,” they add. “Russian President Putin and those responsible will be held to account.”
