Gael Khalil’s participation in the World Championships

Swimmer Gael Khalil participated in the World Junior Open Water Championships held in the Seychelles in a 10 km race, setting a new Lebanese record of two hours, 47 seconds and 80 percent, and the previous record of two hours, one minute and 17 seconds, which was achieved by the same swimmer at a stage of the World Cup in France last July. It is noteworthy that this is the first time that a Lebanese player participates in the World Junior Open Water Championships.
