Mauro Icardi’s troops were at the top of the standings before kick-off, while the Aigles Noirs were just off the podium with a 4th place. This duel smelled like gunpowder between two giants of Turkish football.

During a relatively balanced game, where the two teams attempted more than ten shots, it was the Galatasaray players who came to win by the smallest of margins (0-1) with the opening the score quickly with a CSC goal from midfielder Al-Musrati.
