while we wait an alleged Galaxy Book 3 Ultra for February, Samsung entertains us with something similar. The company has revealed a new laptop: Galaxy Book 2 Go. This device comes in versions with and without 5G. That, in addition to being powered by a Qualcomm SoC.
Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Go
Its dimensions cover 323.9 x 224.8 x 15.5 millimeters and it weighs 1.44 kg. Its screen is 14-inch IPS TFT at Full HD resolution. Despite being compact, it meets military grade certification MIL-STD-810H. We are before a computer with a 180 degree hinge.
Bring the procesador Snapdragon 7c+ Gen 3 the Qualcomm. The RAM can be 4GB and/or 8GB. Internal storage varies between 128GB and/or 256GB. It has an HD webcam. Its battery is 42.3 Wh with 45 W fast charge.
Connectivity consists of:
- Wi-Fi 6E.
- Bluetooth 5.2.
- 1x MicroSD card slot.
- 2x USB-C.
- 1x USB-A 2.0.
- 1x headphone jack.
- A nano SIM slot –> for models with 5G.
It runs Windows 11 Home. If you have other Galaxy devices, the possibilities and experience are expanded. As an example, you can sync a Galaxy Tab with the Galaxy Book 2 Go using the second screen feature (Second Screen). Another alternative lies in a quick synchronization with Galaxy Buds headphones.
Availability and prices
The new Galaxy Book 2 Go will be available on the official Samsung website and selected retailers since the end of January. Their prices are like this:
- 4GB RAM + 128GB internal storage without 5G at £499 (USD 611 or CLP 498,200).
- 4GB RAM + 128GB internal storage with 5G at £649 (USD 795 or CLP 648,000).
- 8GB RAM + 256GB internal storage with 5G at £749 (USD 917 or CLP 747,800).
