Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 with SD chipset unveiled

Earlier in February this year, Samsung launched the Samsung phone Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 which included Intel chipsets. The South Korean technology company has now revealed the same type of laptop with Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 chipset.

The new Samsung laptop is almost ready to hit the market. Samsung will officially launch in South Korea with a price tag of 1.89 million KRW ($1,497 USD).

The Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 chipset is the first 5nm ARM chipset made for Windows laptops. It was launched in late 2021 with significant performance improvements over its predecessor.

Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 Snapdragon Edition comes with massive upgrades

If compared to Gen 2, Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3 delivers a whopping 85% multi-core CPU performance compared to the older version. The graphic improvement was also a huge leap. The new chipset brings about 60% more GPU performance while the NPU has increased to 29 TOPS.

This version is similar to the Intel version. It also features a 13.3 inch AMOLED display. At just 1.04kg in weight and 11.5mm thick, it is one of the lightest and thinnest laptops on the market today.

Just as the name suggests, this laptop can flip 360 degrees. With the help of the included S-Pen, you can easily get a lot done without touching the keyboard or trackpad.

The Intel version has very good battery life and seems to be more than enough. It can give you up to 21 hours of battery life when playing video. The Snapdragon version takes this even further, providing 35 hours of battery when playing video.

The new version also features built-in 5G connectivity and WiFi 63 support as well. More improvements come with higher prices, too. The new version will sell for KRW 1.89 million, while the Intel version will sell for KRW 1.65 million.

Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 release date

As mentioned earlier, the Samsung Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 will be launched in the home country of South Korea on January 16, 2023. As it stands now, there is no information about the global launch yet.
