‘Galaxy S10’ series, US model following global model security update in August

Samsung Electronics’ old flagship smartphone ‘Galaxy S10’ series US models, whose official support has ended, are receiving security updates in August. The global model received an update last month.

The firmware version provided for ▲Galaxy S10e ▲Galaxy S10 ▲Galaxy S10 Plus model is G97xUSQU6IVH2. The August security update includes dozens of bug fixes reported in Android and Samsung applications.

Currently, T-Mobile is providing updates, but it will soon be expanded to other carriers, foreign media reported.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy S10 series was released with Android 9 Pie in early 2019. Since then, it has received three OS upgrades: ▲Android 10 ▲Android 11 ▲Android 12.
