The battery of the future Galaxy Watch 6 was certified in South Korea and the local regulatory agency indicates that the component must have its capacity expanded to 300 mAh. That is, a small increase over the 284 mAh found in the 40 mm Watch 5.
According to sources heard by GalaxyClub, this is an indication that Samsung is aware of the main complaint of users: low autonomy. The situation even improved on the Galaxy Watch 5, but the Korean apparently knows that it still wasn’t enough.
If Samsung invests in a more efficient display and chipset, this 5% gain in battery capacity could make the watch have improved autonomy in a few hours.
The 40mm Galaxy Watch 6 is being registered with the numbering SM-R93x, while the 44mm version bears the SM-R94x. The Pro model is still an open question, but it can follow its predecessor and have an even bigger battery.
Finally, several rumors say that Samsung may launch the Galaxy Watch 6 line with a curved display, in addition to important adjustments in the field of design. However, the company does not comment on the matter.

O Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 may come with curved glass screen design. The information comes from ice universe leaker (@UniverseIce), who published on his Twitter profile about this change in the look of the next generation of the South Korean manufacturer’s smart watch.
According to the insider, there are not many details regarding the design change. At first, the company should put aside the style “flat” and most likely will return to using the curved style, something that was already present in Galaxy Active 2model that received an update in September last year with some new features.
