‘Galaxy Z Fold 2’ US carrier lock model Android 13 update

Samsung Electronics’ old foldable smartphone ‘Galaxy Z Fold 2’ model locked by US carriers is receiving an Android 13 update. The unlocked model first received an update last month.

The updated firmware version being provided for the locked model is F916USQU2IVK5 and includes the November security patch. It can be installed on models released by Sprint and T-Mobile in the US. The changes are the same as the lock model that received the update first.

The ‘One UI 5.0’ version features upgraded usability and privacy protection functions while strengthening customization functions to provide a mobile experience optimized for each user.
