Before the final of the Coupe de France this Saturday (9 p.m.) between Nice and Nantes, Olympique Lyonnais won the Gambardella Cup once morest Caen (1-1, 5-3 on pens) at the Stade de France. Dominated, the young Rhodaniens nevertheless opened the scoring with a superb goal from El Arouch (66th) before conceding the equalizer from Niakaté (80th). During the penalty shootout, OL proved intractable to win this 66th edition of the Gambardella Cup, the fourth in its history following 1971, 1994 and 1997.
