Game companies continue to declare their absence from E3 2023.

Nintendo told IGN Japan that it will not be participating in E3 2023 because it “goes once morest the company’s development and release announcement plans.” It means that its own online event ‘Nintendo Direct’ is enough.

The game company’s own event became more active following the corona, while E3 was confused by the sudden cancellation of the event and the online conversion. In fact, Nintendo, Sony, and Microsoft announced their intention not to attend E3 2023 in January and announced that they would release and promote new games through Nintendo Direct, State of Play, and Xbox Showcase.

Nintendo said, “Although we are unable to attend this event, the company will remain an eternal supporter of ESA and E3.”

Meanwhile, E3 2023 was confirmed last week by Ubisoft, and will be held simultaneously online and offline from June 13th to 16th.
