The Thai Game Software Industry Association (TGA) launched the “Game Talent Showcase 2023” project to promote the gaming industry. And give students an opportunity to show their skills in creating games by organizing a workshop to train skills in presenting games “Game Market Fit” and organizing a day to showcase their works and competitions. Award presentation has been completed at the building on the 7th floor of the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (depa).
At the event, there was an exhibition of the games of the 12 finalists, with pitcing activities and award announcements at the event.
This year’s awards include 7 main awards and 2 special awards as follows:
Talent of the Year 2023 – Best Game Awards with prize money of 50,000 baht
Winner: Optim Games Studio Team // Anachronic Games
Rising Star Student Award – The best game award in an event created by high school students, prize money 20,000 baht
Winner : Team PlayAlone // Welcome Home Game / Welcome Home
Best of Narrative – A game with a unique and engaging storyline.
Winner: Sproot Production // Asuji: The Legend of You Game
Best of Game Design – Games with innovative gameplay design and perfectly presented.
Winner: Somnolent Team // Trust Your Ears Game
Best of Visual Art – A game with outstanding visual art.
Winner: It’s a Goose, Not a Duck. // Goose Tarot Game
Best of Sound – A game with outstanding sound composition and/or music.
Winner: Somnolent Team // Trust Your Ears Game
Best of Technology – The game in which the new technology is most prominently created as part of the play or development kit.
Winner: Optim Games Studio Team // Anachronic Games
Developer’s choice special award – the game that the elders in the game industry like the most
Winner: moppin team // Donegeon game
Special Audience Choice Award – Most Viewed Game
