PureXbox has told the sad story of an anonymous redditor. According to them, the gamer won gift bundle from Microsoft, which included a custom Xbox Series X in the style of Far Cry 6, a Samsung NEO QLED TV, a copy of Far Cry 6 and a bunch of merchandise – all for a total of $ 4,288. However, he never received his prize.
The gamer had a problem at the stage of sending his data. All winners will receive a letter asking them to provide their personal details before a certain deadline. The catch is that these letters are sent not from the official almost Microsoft, but on behalf of a certain promo-company IC Promos. A gamer who saw an email from an unfamiliar address mistook it for spam and did not even read it – and as a result, he lost a valuable prize.
Judging by Microsoft site, the bundle ended up leaving for someone else.
It will not be possible to verify the authenticity of this story, however, PureXbox journalists claim that they received all the necessary evidence from an anonymous redditor.
