You can treat Horizon Forbidden West as you like, but it’s impossible to deny that Guerrilla Games has done an excellent job. Especially if you evaluate the PS5 version of the game.
The release has just taken place, but gamers are already loading social networks with screenshots and clips from Forbidden West. And one common theme that almost all gamers agree on is the incredible craftsmanship and attention to detail.
This applies not only to the barely noticeable hairs on Aloy’s cheeks, which have already been kneaded to the limit:
If you pause the action, open the photo mode, then you can calmly look at the attention the developers came up with in order to achieve maximum quality.
Pay attention to water drops, barely noticeable lines around the lips, individual hairs, abrasions on the metal and eyebrows. All this is not the first time it has appeared in games, Red Dead Redemption 2 also has top-end detailing, but Horizon shows that not only Rockstar can do this.
