Game News Gamescom 2022: Bloody gameplay for The Callisto Protocol

Announced more gore than some survival-horrors like the Dead Space saga, The Callisto Protocol was talked about again at gamescom 2022. Despicable creatures, impressive deaths, Kraton was provocative during the German conference.
Father of the Dead Space license, Glen Schofield returns to the front of the stage with a new IP published by Krafton. Being a survival-horror taking place in 2320 in a space prison of Callisto, a hostile and inhospitable moon of Jupiter also called Jupiter IV, The Callisto Protocol launches the protagonist Jacob Lee who will seek to flee Callisto by all means possible.
The concern for Jacob Lee? Biophages, necrotic enemies strongly reminiscent of necromorphs of Dead Space. These are featured in a new trailer shown at gamescom 2022 during Opening Night Live. Like Isaac Clarke’s character in Dead Space, we notice that Jacob is equipped with a life bar on its neckand it will be necessary to learn to become familiar with deaths… disturbing like what is shown at the end of this gameplay trailer.
The Callisto Protocol will be released on December 2, 2022 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, PC, Switch
