La Gantoise announced the arrival of the Japanese Daisuke Yokota this Monday. The 23-year-old attacking midfielder arrives from the Gornik Zabrze club in Poland, with a contract until 2027 under his arm.
Daisuke Yokota discovered European football at the age of 18, in the youth teams of German clubs FSV Frankfurt and Carl Zeiss Jena.
He then moved to Latvia and Valmiera FC, where he scored 8 goals and provided 12 assists in 61 matches, winning a national title in 2022.
His performances earned him a transfer to Poland in February 2023, where he shone at the start of the season with 7 goals in 18 league games.
