Specializing for more than ten years in outpatient medical and surgical care in several specialties, the Grand Avignon clinic of the Noalys group has just obtained the highest distinction awarded by the High Authority for Health (HAS). That is to say the mention “High quality of care”.
This certification is renewed, or not, every four years by experts mandated by the HAS. The audit which took place in December 2023 allowed the evaluation of fifteen chapters divided into three sections: patient, care team and establishment. From an overall score of 50%, the establishment can be certified and then obtain the mention “Confirmed quality of care” or “High quality of care” depending on its results.
450 indicators and criteria
The Grand Avignon clinic was awarded an overall score of 98.34% for its ongoing work on the quality and safety of care. The score of 100% on the patient aspect, which demonstrates care that listens to patients, is consolidated by an evaluation of 98% of the competence of the care team. Finally, the clinic and its organization, which are the pillars of care, were appreciated by the visiting experts at 96%.
“We are very satisfied with this result which is recognition of the quality of our work“, confides the director, Perrine Bisbal. She advocates “a real reflection on the health system which is experiencing great difficulties“.
If this result is not surprising, it was not a foregone conclusion. “Four hundred and fifty indicators and criteria are listed, some are imperative, others advanced and each time, the requirements are reinforced.”
Although the standard has changed over the years, the clinic, which has already been the subject of certifications in 2012 (certification without reservation or recommendation) and in 2016 (certification A) for which it obtained the highest mentions, maintains its status of excellence.
