Garmin Fenix 7 Pro / Epix Pro
Posted by Garmin at the end of May Fenix 7 Pro and Epix Pro flagship models, came to Taiwan today. This change is mainly to add the flashlight function that was originally only available in Fenix 7X to all models in the whole series, and to expand the size of 42mm and 51mm for the Epix, which was originally only 47mm in size.
Garmin Fenix 7 Pro
Compared with the Fenix 7 series divided into various detailed specifications, the Fenix 7 Pro series is much more consistent in terms of functional specifications, mainly in size. The Fenix 7X Pro is 51mm in size and is equipped with a 1.4-inch 280 x 280 pixel MIP transflective screen; the Fenix 7 is 47mm in size and is equipped with a 1.3-inch 260 x 260 pixel screen; and the Fenix 7S is 42mm in size and is equipped with a 1.2-inch 240 x 240 resolution screen. All three have built-in flashlights and Power Sapphire sapphire solar charging mirrors, of which 7X Pro can last up to 28 (battery) + 9 (solar) days of power in smart watch mode, and up to 89 + 33 hours in GPS mode; 7 Pro up to 18+4 days of power in smartwatch mode, up to 57+16 hours in GPS mode; while 7S Pro gets up to 11+3 days of power in smartwatch mode, up to 57+16 hours in GPS mode 37 + 9 hours.
Garmin Epix Pro
Epix Pro is expanded to the same three sizes as Fenix 7 Pro, but the AMOLED panel it uses has higher power consumption and lack of solar charging function in exchange for higher resolution and bright color display. Epix Pro 51mm up to 31 days of power in smartwatch mode (11 days in constant light mode), up to 82 hours in GPS mode (58 hours in constant light mode); Epix Pro 47mm in smartwatch mode Up to 16 days of power (6 days in constant light mode), up to 42 hours in GPS mode (30 hours in constant light mode); and up to 10 days in smartwatch mode for the smallest Epix Pro 42mm (4 days in constant light mode), up to 28 hours in GPS mode (20 hours in constant light mode).
Garmin Fenix 7 Pro
All six watches have the aforementioned flashlight function, which can choose four levels of white light brightness or one level of red light, and also provide a variety of options for flashing frequencies and SOS signals. They also all use the latest fifth-generation heart rate and blood oxygen sensors, and add advanced sports indicators such as “climbing score” and “endurance score”, and have more than 100 built-in sports modes. Support for sports such as obstacle races, boxing, basketball, football, and squash. All six watches are also supported by Garmin Pay’s leisure card and credit card.
Garmin Fenix 7 Pro
Fenix 7X Pro and Fenix 7 Pro are only available in graphite gray, with a black silicone strap, priced at NT$32,990 and NT$29,990 respectively; while Fenix 7S Pro is only available in cream gold, with a light sand silicone strap, priced at N$ T29,990. As for Epix Pro, both the 51mm and 47mm models are available in “Stone Black Gray” and “Titanium White”, priced at NT$35,990 and NT$32,990 respectively; while the 42-inch model is available in Stone Black Gray and Cream gold and two colors are also NT$32,990.
