Gas cylinder explosion leaves six injured

Carabobo firefighters extinguished the flames following the incident.

At least six people suffered several burns following the explosion of a gas cylinder in the Caturama Residence, in Valencia.

The incident occurred in an apartment and caused multiple walls to collapse within the building.

The owner, a 67-year-old woman, was seriously injured.

In the Ciudad Hospitalaria Dr. Enrique Tejera, the injured were treated, who presented affections following the accident in more than 80% of their bodies.

The flames were suffocated by the Firefighters of Carabobo and the Valencia municipality.

El Diario 2001 specified that “the residence is supplied with domestic gas through a stationary tank, so it is not allowed to use LPG cylinders inside it.”
