At the operating period tonight, gasoline prices increased a lot. Specifically, the price of E5 gasoline increased by 977 VND/liter; A95 gasoline increased by 993 VND/liter. Thus, the adjusted selling price of E5 gasoline is 22,329 VND/liter; A95 gasoline is 23,147 VND/liter.
Along with gasoline, the price of diesel oil also increased by 890 VND/liter, pushing the selling price to 22,524 VND/liter; kerosene increased by 767 VND/liter to 22,576 VND/liter; fuel oil increased by 568 VND/kg, to 13,934 VND/kg.
In this operating period, petroleum products increased sharply, in order to harmonize the interests of people and petroleum businesses, stabilize the supply of petrol and oil for the domestic market, and support people and businesses to use gasoline. After the Lunar New Year in 2023, the Ministry of Industry and Trade – Finance decided to increase the expenditure of the Petroleum Price Stabilization Fund (BOG) for E5 gasoline to 850 VND/liter, A95 gasoline to 950 VND/liter. liter.
At the same time, the operator also reduced the setting up of the BOG Fund for all oil products to 200 dong/liter/kg, so that the price of domestic petroleum products is in line with the world petroleum price movement.
Previously, due to coincide with the Lunar New Year, the operating period was postponed to 1-2, instead of January 21 as prescribed.
