According to Korea National Oil Corporation’s oil price information system Offinet, the price of gasoline sold at gas stations nationwide in the fourth week of this month (22nd to 26th) recorded 1763.5 won per liter, down 11.5 won compared to the previous week.

The region with the most expensive oil prices was Seoul, at 1,840.3 won per liter, down 12.9 won from last week.

Daegu, the lowest price region, dropped 15.7 won to 1,703.6 won.

During the same period, the selling price of diesel was 1684.5 won, down 4.8 won compared to last week.

Gasoline and diesel prices at domestic gas stations began to decline from the second week of this month, after 14 weeks, as the continued rise in international oil prices slowed.

The international gasoline price increased by $0.6 from last week to $95.5, and the international automobile diesel price decreased by $3.6 to $116.

The impact of changes in international oil prices is usually reflected in domestic gas station prices after about two weeks.

An official from the Korea Petroleum Association said, “International gasoline prices have continued to rise for the past four weeks, and diesel prices have risen sharply last week but have fallen again this week, making the situation highly volatile. Domestic product prices are expected to remain flat next week.” Yes.
