Today, Sunday, the Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that the number of victims as a result of the Israeli bombing of the Strip had risen to 15,523 victims and more than 41,000 injured, noting that there were a large number of victims under the rubble.
The ministry said, “The Israeli army is focusing its aggression on all areas of the Gaza Strip without exception and falsely claiming the existence of safe areas.”
She stressed that “the Israeli army is expanding the circle of targeting civilians and has not left a single inch in Gaza without bombing and has committed dozens of massacres during the past hours.”
She added, “316 martyrs and 664 wounded were recovered, and the largest number of victims are still under the rubble.”
She confirmed that “the number of martyrs as a result of the Israeli aggression has risen to 15,523 martyrs and more than 41,000 injured.”
The Ministry confirmed that Israel is still detaining 35 health sector personnel in Gaza, led by the director of Al-Shifa Medical Complex.
She pointed out that medical teams are dealing with hundreds of wounded on the ground in light of the lack of therapeutic and clinical capabilities, and Israel is deliberately targeting the remaining hospitals in northern Gaza on an ongoing basis to put them out of service.
