Since the beginning of 2023, Geely Emgrand has been produced in Belarus at the Belgi plant, but cars are supplied to Russia directly from China, and not with a CVT, as in China itself, but with six-speed automatic transmissions.
Since 2012, the Geely Emgrand EC7 has been sold in Russia, but the new product has nothing to do with it. In China itself, the name Emgrand is used to designate a whole series of Geely cars, which also includes crossovers, but in Russia for now there will only be a sedan, hence the monosyllabic name without indexes.
