The designation “SUPER 3X” is an MSI designation used to characterize a custom GeForce RTX 3060 Ti G6X. The manufacturer relied on the design of its GeForce RTX 3070 Ti SUPRIM whose sales probably did not live up to expectations.
The card was therefore “redesigned” in GeForce RTX 3060 Ti by merging the shaders while “Super 3X” was created to prevent the “SUPRIM” family from landing on a “performance” segment. This “renaming” was however noticed due to rough work having left, for example, the old SUPRIM brand on the back of the card.
