“General Command of Ajman Police and Zayed Foundation Host Iftar Fasting Initiative in UAE”

Ajman, April 20, WAM / The General Command of Ajman Police and the Zayed Foundation for Charitable and Humanitarian Works organized an Iftar fasting initiative, in cooperation with the Community Pride Foundation for Social Responsibility, and the representative office of the Ministry of Health and Community Protection in Ajman.

Major Noura Sultan Al Shamsi, Head of Media and Public Relations Department at Ajman Police, said that the contribution to organizing this initiative came in support of the humanitarian and charitable contributions that Ajman Police is keen to implement to enhance the police’s relationship with society.

She added that the initiative comes as a dedication to the values ​​of human solidarity during the holy month, noting the participation of officials, volunteers and employees from the three authorities in distributing 650 breakfast meals to patients and their companions, as well as the medical staff and workers at Sheikh Khalifa Hospital in Ajman, in addition to distributing meals to drivers and road users in the vicinity of the hospital.

For her part, Fatima Khamis Al-Samahi, Director of Public Relations at the Community Pride Foundation for Social Responsibility, said that the “Iftar fasting” initiative is one of the charitable foundation’s initiatives that were adopted in all emirates of the country throughout the days of the blessed month of Ramadan, following the approach of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, “may God rest his soul.” In humanitarian work, and keenness to continue his approach of giving and to consolidate the noble values ​​of giving and altruism in the hearts of all members of society.
