A source confirmed that it is scheduled to approve the general secondary coordination in Cairo Governorate by Major General Khaled Abdel-Al, Governor of Cairo, next Thursday, to determine the minimum admission scores for those who succeeded in the preparatory certificate, in general secondary schools at the governorate level.
The source added to Al-Youm Al-Sabea, that it is expected to announce the minimum for general secondary school admission coordination for the academic year 2023/2024, so that the minimum admission score is 240 degrees, then it will be reduced according to the density of schools and the preparation of students applying to general secondary schools.
It is noteworthy that the coordination of the general secondary school was last year with a minimum of 220 degrees, as the governor reduced it from 222 degrees to 220 degrees, and admission to services classes is 40 degrees less than the general secondary school.
The Governor of Cairo approved the result of the exams for the deaf and hard of hearing with a success rate of 100%, the result of preparatory exams for the blind with a success rate of 88%, the result of international schools with a success rate of 97.1%, the result of the professional preparatory exams with a success rate of 84.9%, and the result of the preparatory sports exams with a success rate of 74.3%.
Ayman Moussa, Director of the Directorate of Education, confirmed that there are 159 male and female students who obtained the final grades, pointing out that the Shubra Educational Administration achieved first place at the governorate level with a success rate of 98.15%, followed by the New Cairo Educational Administration with a success rate of 96.72%, and the Helwan Educational Administration got On the third place with a success rate of 96.24%.
The Director of the Directorate of Education added that students can obtain the result through the Cairo Governorate electronic portal www.cairo.gov.eg by entering the seat number.
