Generali: Bringing Italian Art and Culture to France – Supporting the Amedeo Modigliani Exhibition and More

For several decades, artistic and cultural sponsorship has been one of Generali’s strong commitments around the world. Through its various initiatives in France, the company has contributed to giving the French public access to the best of Italian culture, art and heritage. Its next support has focused on the exhibition which will honor the painter and sculptor Amedeo Modigliani “A painter and his dealer in the museum” to be discovered from September 203 at the Orangerie in Paris.

Today established in more than 50 pays and one of the largest international insurance and asset management groups, Generali has maintained, since its creation in 1831, a privileged relationship with Italian art and artistic heritage. Historically associated with Venice (of which the winged lion is one of the emblems), Generali is owner of Procuratie Vecchie, Piazza San Marco, whose buildings were reopened to the public in 2022 after several years of renovation.
