Geneva bans baptism in the waters of the lake

We knew the multipurpose Lake Geneva: fishing, sailing, swimming, water sports in general, lake transport. We did not know that it was also used to baptize. “It is indeed an ancient tradition to do it in the waters of the lake”, indicates Stéphane Klopfenstein, the deputy director of the Swiss Evangelical Network (RES), regarding this Christian sacrament.
