The next update we will have will be Genshin Impact 4.2, which will feature another chapter involving the Fontaine region. As the beta version of Genshin Impact 4.2 has already been released, several leaks are occurring. At the end of September, the banners of the playable characters that will be released were revealed, including re-releases with the phase/part of the update where each character will debut.
In the first banner of Genshin Impact 4.2 it is already known that Furina (Focalors), the Archon Hydro, will be released. However, the 5-star character that will be relaunched will not come along with the Goddess of Justice, who is expected to debut on November 8th, which may vary slightly due to the time difference.

Recently, a leaker revealed on the “Genshin Impact Leaks” subreddit the character banners that will be released in Genshin Impact 4.2. The leak says that Genshin Impact update 4.2 will bring the following 5-star characters:
Furina (Focalors), the Archon Hydro, Goddess of Justice Baizhu Cyno Kamisato Ayato
Additionally, it was said by the leaker that the following 4-star characters will be present in the Genshin Impact 4.2 banners:
The characters Furina (Focalors) and Charlotte will make their first playable appearance in update 4.2 of Genshin Impact. Furina is a sword user, controls the Hydro element and has a rarity of 5 stars. Charllote is a user of catalyst weapons, controls the Cryo element and has a rarity of 4 stars.

According to recent leaks about version 4.2 of Genshin Impact, there will be the following weapon banners:
Weapon banner for the first phase (November 8th to 29th) of Genshin Impact 4.2: Splendor of Still Waters Sword (5 stars), Indigo Splendor Catalyst (Baizhu’s weapon).
Weapon banner for the second phase (November 29 to December 20) of Genshin Impact 4.2: Futsu’s Moon Tidal Sword (Ayato’s weapon), Crimson Sands Staff Spear (Cyno’s weapon).
Launch and availability
Genshin Impact 4.2 is scheduled to be released on November 8, 2023 on PlayStation, PC, Android and iOS platforms. Note that the game currently has cross-save and multiplayer mode features, allowing you to play using the same progress on different devices.
