THE ANGELS –
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Paul George scored 23 points, Ivica Zubac added 15 and grabbed 12 rebounds, and the Los Angeles Clippers won their fourth straight, beating the Sacramento Kings 117-98 on Saturday.
Norman Powell added 20 points off the bench for the Clippers, who meet Minnesota on Tuesday in a playoff minitournament.
A win would send Los Angeles to the postseason for the fourth year in a row, meeting Memphis in the first round.
A loss to the Timberwolves would force the Clippers to meet either New Orleans or San Antonio on Friday for one last chance to make the playoffs.
The winner of that duel would face the Phoenix Suns, first seeded in the Western Conference.
Davion Mitchell led Sacramento with 22 points, while Trey Lyles had 15.
