Twelve-year-old Georgia Balke from Bremerhaven recently delighted the audience at the charity gala “Kinderlachen” in the Westfalen-Halle in Dortmund. The “The Voice Kids” winner sang the songs “House of the Rising Sun” and the Michael Jackson classic “Heal the World”. In addition to Georgia Balke, comedian Matze Knop, politician Wolfgang Bosbach and US Olympic champion Carl Lewis were also on stage.
Balke conquered the hearts of the audience. At the latest following the song “Heal the World” was performed, accompanied by a children’s choir from Ukraine – the audience stood up to applaud. It was Georgia’s biggest performance to date following winning The Voice Kids. At the end of the year, she also announced a big surprise.
