The sad news fell on Tuesday July 19, early in the morning: the singer Dani had succumbed to a heart attack at her home in Tours, where she had settled just before confinement. The 77-year-old artist left behind her two sons, Emmanuel and Julienfruits of his love with yéyés photographer Benjamin Auger while anonymous and personalities paid homage to his personality and to his long career.

“It will be a rather classic ceremony. The cathedral will be decorated with 1,000 multicolored roses, songs will open and close the celebration. We follow the course presented to us by the priest Joël Marie. Father Joseph Marti who knew her well will be present but it is not he who will officiate“, had confided this beginning of the week the family of the singer, who had to give up his participation in theEurovision in 1974. But no song from his repertoire on the program, the artist never having “liked to listen“.
