CHAIRMAN of the Gerindra Party Daily, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, said he was still conducting studies and communication regarding the parties that wanted to join the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka government. Regarding PKS signaling that it is ready to join the Prabowo-Gibran government, Dasco said that his party would talk to the parties supporting Prabowo first.

“Yes, the issue of coalition composition will be discussed later. Currently it is still under review and communication, both with the parties that will enter and with parties that have already entered,” said Dasco, Monday (29/4/2024).

Dasco asked the public to be patient regarding which parties enter the Prabowo-Gibran government coalition. He emphasized that it was still too early for them to reject the party that would join or open the door wide.

“It’s too early to say whether we can accept it or not. Please be patient,” he stressed.

Previously, it was believed that the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) would join the new Prabowo-Gibran government. This can be seen from several PKS gestures following holding political meetings.

“PKS has the possibility of joining the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka coalition,” said Executive Director of Political and Public Policy Studies Jerry Massie, Friday, April 26 2024. (Z-2)
