Bregenz/Oberstdorf – A 54-year-old woman fled from Bavaria to Vorarlberg on Friday followingnoon in a stolen car. During her escape of more than 35 kilometers she was constantly pursued by the police, first by the German, then also by the Austrian. They managed to stop them shortly following Alberschwende (Bregenzerwald). The police had shot in the air and at the getaway vehicle several times in both countries, but the 54-year-old was not hit.
