The Dutch Embassy in Moscow has warned its citizens that cars with Russian license plates will be confiscated in Germany due to sanctions.
“The Embassy has received information that, in some cases, Russian-registered vehicles used by EU citizens to enter Germany have been confiscated by German authorities in accordance with EU sanctions provisions. Inquiries sent to the German authorities confirm that this is indeed the case. says in a message on the official Telegram channel of the embassy dated July 5.
