The German government wants to prevent excessively strict regulation of artificial intelligence (AI) in the European Union. “The most important thing now is to get a sensible AI regulation at the European level,” said Vice Chancellor and Economics Minister Robert Habeck (Greens) in a podcast by the digital association Bitkom at the beginning of the federal government’s digital summit in Jena. “You can do a lot right, but you can also do a lot wrong.”
