According to a survey of 1,600 members aged 10 to 30 by Alba Heaven, more than 90% of the respondents mentioned that they had experience of fortune-telling. He added that sales related to fortune-telling increased significantly despite economic crises such as the Lehman crisis.
Director Lim introduced, “In the trend of increasing interest in shamanism and fortune telling, we have launched a talisman-like service that can buff you in real life.”
Amulet Own sells a total of 7 amulets, including love and wealth. Amulets that can be purchased through the service are digital, not paper. Director Lim explained that by digitizing the amulet, loss and damage are prevented. Delivery service is supported for consumers who want physical amulets.

Content resale function exists. It’s not just a service to buy amulets. Purchased amulets can be auctioned and resold. The fortune-telling service recommends the fortune of the day and the amulet of the day. Up to three charms can be equipped at once.

Q. You said that you can buy and sell amulets. I wonder if there are standards for the lowest and highest prices?
[이성노 IMI 이사] In the planning stage, creators were allowed to set their own prices. However, each crater had a different idea and the price was very different. They gave some guidelines on pricing. From resale, there is no fixed price. Sell at the price you want to sell for.
Q. Do you have any plans to launch the service as an NFT?
[이성노] I had a lot of trouble. However, I thought that NFTs did not have a good social image. It was judged to be a burden factor prior to the first service. NFTs will be considered in the future.
Q. Those who actually purchase amulets place importance on the real thing.
[임상원 비앤엠홀딩스 실장] Paper is deteriorating day by day. Now, education is gradually being replaced by tablets. That is why the amulet was digitized. Physical purchases are also possible.
Q. How will you guarantee creator certification, such as a fortune teller or a guru, to consumers?
[임상원] Have a direct conversation and thoroughly figure out if there is any social controversy. Contracts are made according to the guidelines set internally. Consumers can also check this in the app.
Q. Among the things related to fortune-telling, there are mandalas and dharma figures as well as amulets. Do you have plans to expand your service offerings?

Q. In fact, more middle-aged people buy amulets than the MZ generation. Will they get used to digital services?
[임상원] Middle-aged people are also good at handling these applications. Not something to worry about at all.
Q. If you buy an amulet and it doesn’t work, there will definitely be a backlash.
[이성노] Amulets are purchased for personal satisfaction. All the amulets that are currently being sold mean the same thing. The talisman is faith and a small hope. It is not something you buy to see the immediate effect.
