Get ready for more ads if you’re using Microsoft Outlook on iOS and Android

It now appears that Microsoft she decided It’s getting bolder in showing ads to some Android and iOS users in the platform, and now ads appear on the Inbox tab within Outlook.

Previously, Microsoft was showing ads to users for free in the Other tab (the Focused filter was supposed to show only important mail), now things have changed. The only way to get rid of these ads on the Focused tab is to get a Microsoft Office 365 subscription.

A Microsoft spokesperson confirmed this change, and the real problem here is that the ads in Outlook look horribly like real emails.

Nobody likes ads, and we realize there is no such thing as a free service, but perhaps Microsoft should make it more visible as an banner.
