Offline store sales of Steam Deck OLED, which has welcomed fans with improved specifications, will begin on the 12th.
KOMODO, which distributes Steam Deck and Steam Deck OLED in Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, and Taiwan, announced the start of simultaneous offline sales through official stores in each region.
Offline sales begin at officially certified stores in each region. In Korea, Shinsegae Electromart, which had previously signed a distribution contract and was selling Steam Deck offline, will also sell Steam Deck OLED. Komodo said that the product can be found at Starfield Hanam Branch / Jayang Branch / Wangsimni Branch / Yeonsu Branch / Haeundae Branch / and other Electro Mart stores.
Meanwhile, in Japan, Steam Deck OLED is sold at Bic Camera/Edion/Yodobashi Camera/Computer Workshop/Sofmap, and in Hong Kong and Taiwan at Predator Pro Shop and Acer Store, respectively.
The Steam Deck OLED, released by Valve on November 17, is an improved model that has changed various aspects such as display replacement and weight reduction to increase the battery usage time, which was disappointing in the existing Steam Deck. In addition, the maximum capacity has been increased to 1TB and Wi-Fi 6E is supported due to changes in the APU process.
Meanwhile, four regions, including Korea, will continue to sell Steam Deck OLED, Steam Deck LCD (formerly Steam Deck), and docking station in offline as well as online stores.
