Doha: Lusail International Circuit in Qatar ready for speed races. Formula One and MotoGP are held in Qatar in October. Formula One is a favorite of car racing enthusiasts around the world. The Qatar Formula One Grand Prix will be held from October 6 to 8.
The circuit is undergoing comprehensive development and innovation. The renovation work which started last December will be completed by September this year. The length of the circuit is 5.418 km.
The project, implemented by Public Works Authority Ashgal, will also include a grand stand that can accommodate 40,000 spectators. It will also include construction of parking areas to park 10,000 cars.
The Moto GP, a high-speed bike race, is held in November. Apart from this, the Lucille circuit will also host the inaugural round of the FIA World Endurance Championship, Qatar 1812, in March next year.
